Taiwan is a well known rainy country in the world.
But, it just announced that Shi-men Reservoir Water District will take action to limit supply domestic water.
How it happened? And how to reduce water consumption in our daily life? An environmental education exhibition, “Run for Water, Water for Run” is taken in Taipei by Delta Electronics Fundation.

An Environmental Exhibition:
Run for Water Water for Run
27. Feb. ─ 9. Apr.  2015
Former Air Force Command Headquarter, Nature Room (自然館)  10:00-17:00 (18:00 on weekends)
No.55, Sec. 3, Ren’ai Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City

For us, the distance to get a cup of water is 23 steps; for Ethiopians, it’s 23 kilometers.

For us, to retrieve water, we simply stroll to the kitchen; for a child in the Gobi Desert, it is a wait of two days  for his parents to come back from the nearest waters.

For us, clean water splashes out from our faucets; for Namaxianians, an aboriginal tribe in Taiwan, water comes slowly and intermittently from their hand-built pipes.

Welcome to our Journey of Water.
